📄 Differentiation Academy – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Differentiation Academy. By accessing and using our services, website, or booking a consultation or tutoring session, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Services Provided

Differentiation Academy provides 1-to-1 tutoring services (online and in-person) across all subjects and exam boards for students aged 3 to 18, including:

11+, SATs, GCSEs, A-Levels
Trial sessions and consultation calls

All services are tailored to students' individual goals, strengths, and academic needs.

3. Bookings and Payments

All sessions must be booked in advance via our online form, phone, or email.
Trial sessions are free for first-time students.
Payment for lessons must be made in full at least 24 hours before the session begins.
We accept payment via bank transfer, Stripe, or other approved methods.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will be eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will not be refunded.
“No shows” are non-refundable and will count as a completed session.
Referral-based free sessions cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Referral Offer

For every successful referral (where the referred student books a minimum of one paid session), the referrer is entitled to one free session.
Referral sessions must be claimed within 60 days of confirmation.
Misuse or fraudulent referrals will result in suspension of referral benefits.

6. Student Conduct

Students must attend sessions on time, prepared with the necessary materials.
Any disruptive, inappropriate, or abusive behaviour toward tutors or other students will result in immediate termination of the session.
Differentiation Academy reserves the right to refuse service to any client or student who breaches these terms.

7. Tutor Responsibilities

All tutors are DBS-checked and qualified to teach the subjects they are assigned.
Tutors will deliver professional, customised, and confidential sessions to the best of their ability.
We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes but strive to help every student improve and reach their potential.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

All personal data is handled in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
Session notes, progress records, and communications are kept confidential.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, lesson materials, and branding, is the property of Differentiation Academy and may not be copied or reused without prior written consent.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes via our website or email. Continued use of our services after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
