Refund & Cancellation Policy

Applies to: All paid sessions, packages, and consultation services delivered by Differentiation Academy


 

1. Trial Sessions

  • Your first session is completely free — no payment required.

  • No refund applies since no charge is made.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule a booked session free of charge if you provide at least 24 hours' notice.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made via email, WhatsApp, or phone call.

  • If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the full session fee is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

3. Missed Sessions / No-Shows

  • If a student does not attend a scheduled session and no notice is given, this will be counted as a no-show.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable unless in the case of a documented emergency (see Section 6).

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be issued under the following conditions:

  • A session was cancelled by Differentiation Academy or a tutor, and a reschedule could not be arranged.

  • A technical failure on our part prevented a session from taking place (for online sessions).

  • A student paid for multiple sessions in advance and chooses to withdraw from future sessions, with at least 48 hours’ notice before the next booked session.

5. Refund Method and Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (e.g., Stripe, bank transfer).

  • Please allow 5–7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

6. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies can happen. If a cancellation or absence is due to:

  • Serious illness

  • Family emergency

  • Bereavement

Please notify us as soon as possible. We will review the case on an individual basis and may offer a refund, credit, or reschedule at our discretion.

7. Package Bookings

  • Refunds for prepaid lesson packages are only available for unused sessions.

  • Used sessions will be charged at the standard hourly rate (not the discounted package rate), and the balance refunded accordingly.

8. Non-Refundable Items

  • Gifted or referral-based free sessions cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash.

  • Digital resources or personalised plans, once delivered, are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. All clients will be notified of significant changes via email or website notice.
